Research & Planning - Feedback

After doing my power point, my group and I received the following feedback:

  • Set the trailer up as an Action film then at the end introduce the factor of a Urban film, the action will get the audience excited and involved, the deeper storyline can come later. This leaves the viewer at bay however intrigued to watch more.

  • A highbrid genre would consequently mean my trailer would be very post modern, meaning I would have a lot to discuss in my evaluation.

  • For the possible scene at the end where Myself and Max have a fight, we have fake blood left over from last years media piece to improve realism.

  • Our choice of music has to be very specific, a slow melody can be used if there it builds into a crescendo, else a fairly fast paced beat is needed to empathise on the first tempo.

  • Look at certifications. If my film is going to be a 15, what can and cant be displayed?

  • The title. We chose, 'Suburban Nightmare' this was approved of by everyone as they agreed it represented our stortyline of these children not quite reaching the brightlights, within the city.
